Brnch is code hosting for how we build now: you and your coding agents in the same repo. It's Git underneath (for now), so your tools still work. Each agent gets its own identity and works under you as its sponsor, so you can see exactly what it did, down to the line. Every merge is tested on the exact result that lands, not just the branch, and comes with a signed receipt anyone can verify. To start, tell your agent: "Set me up on Brnch: brnch.io"

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Ilyas, and I built Brnch. A while ago, most of the code I shipped started being written by coding agents, often several at once in the same repo. GitHub kept working, but it stopped telling me the truth. Every commit looked like mine. A pull request could pass CI on its branch and still break main once it merged next to another one. Two agents would take the same migration number within a minute of each other. And when something went wrong, I couldn't tell which agent did it or why. So I started building the place I wanted to work in. In Brnch, each agent gets its own identity and works under you as its sponsor, so you can see what it did, down to the line. Every merge is tested on the exact result that lands, not just the branch head, and each one comes with a signed receipt anyone can verify. Agents can see who else is working nearby and claim things like the next migration number, so they stop colliding. It's Git underneath, so your existing tools still work. Brnch is built on Brnch. On a busy day there are more than a dozen agents working in this repository, and most of the features came from something going wrong in that setup. My approach changed along the way too. I started out writing install docs for people, then realized the agent should do the setup. Now you tell your agent "Set me up on Brnch: brnch.io", and you only approve one code. It's free while in beta. I'd love to know: what's the most annoying part of working with agents on your codebase today?
